Theresa May’s new government must lift the pay cap on NHS staff wages to help improve staff retention, the membership body for commissioners and providers of NHS services has said.
Speaking at the NHS Confederation’s annual conference in Liverpool on 14 June, Niall Dickson, the confederation’s chief executive, said that securing the workforce to deliver the services that patients need was one of the major challenges facing the NHS. …
