Protect children from alcohol harm, says expert group

Severe curbs are needed on alcohol advertising in Scotland, including sports sponsorship, to protect children from unhealthy products, a group of experts on alcohol policy from the UK and overseas have told the Scottish government.

The recommendations are made in a report published by the charity Alcohol Focus Scotland,1 which commissioned the report after being asked for advice by the Scottish government.
