Barbara Squire

Barbara studied life sciences as an undergraduate, specialising in parasitology. After working with zoo animals, she went on to four years’ postgraduate research on schistosomiasis control. She joined The BMJ as a technical editor in 1988 and has been working freelance since 1991. She deals with clinical research papers but also works on other projects for the BMJ Group.
